Those were the famous (well?) words of King Leonidas in the movie 300 as he addressed the ‘assistant’ warriors when their leader warned him of going forward and risking certain death.

All of the Spartan soldiers were eager to fight even though it meant facing their own slaughter. Surely they were ready….for if being a Spartan meant anything, it meant fighting to defend your people (and their principals and way of life) to the death! It was understood.

It kinda reminds me of America…we are free in this country…at least that’s what I understood the Constitution to mean.

The King had to break down what a Spartan is and isn’t; a mother fucker standing next to a Spartan is NOT the same as a SPARTAN because when the time came to show and prove, the helpers from the next village showed themselves to be bitch made men (as if the leather Speedo and hairless glistening chests didn’t already give it away).

I feel like King Leonidas today because I need to know what’s in a man’s heart…

Ok, I’m bullshitting you, honestly, I don’t need to know what’s in a man’s heart. Because if you are talking about Johnny White Boy..then we already know what this is.

See, what the country is learning and what Blacks and other minorities already know, is that we live in two separate Americas.

On the one hand, you have the America that we yall sing about and eat a hot dog on the Fourth for. This is the ideal America our young people enlist to ‘defend’ across oceans and lands from threats to our homeland boarders (or some bullshit like what Bush said).

THEN THERE IS THE OTHER AMERICA….

The one that Blacks and other not whites (plus the ‘gays’) exist in. This America makes it terribly apparent that the color of one’s skin trumps a citizen’s right to enjoy the liberties that they TOLD YOU were meant to include all Americans (they might even question your citizenship..after all..liberties are only for AMERICANS -funny how whites think that means ANGLO although the real Americans all have had brown skin; but they are all dead now so you can’t quite prove that fact).

IS THE ISSUE THAT OBAMA IS A DEM..or one of “DEM”?

Peep this Facebook exchange from a former classmate. The fanatical misrepresentation of information is classic ‘bait and switch’ tactics used to keep people confused. I’ll work my rebuttal in so we can put this bullshit to rest..

The Federal Government started the Botanical Gardens back in Thomas Jefferson’s administration, so it’s not entirely fair to blame the current government. (1) You can blame them though for starting a scholarship program for former childhood actors on Diffrn’t Strokes who didn’t go to jail, and giving 8 people jobs to administrate the program. (2) We can blame the government for still having a huge department to handle veteran’s claims – of the Civil War. (3) The fact is that Obama is the most fascist and racist president we’ve had since FDR and made Clinton look like honest Abe. (4) We’ve seen the largest illegal usurpation of economic power to the Federal government in history. At the same time, despite Obama’s claim that he’d have the most open presidency in history, (5)  it’s become the most closed and secretive. (6) Try going for a simple Freedom of Information Act request on the government’s research on the Gulf Oil Spill and you’ll get nowhere. (7) While Americans are suffering, he’s playing basketball with NBA all-stars while his wife goes on shopping sprees in Spain. (8) He has a separate plane for his dog, at tax payer’s expense. (9) Don’t forget he’s taken more days off as President to date than anybody. (10) His staff gives out huge government contracts to their former employers in whom they still own stock. (11) And he guarantees his presidency by having a drunk idiot plagiarist a heart beat away.

THE BREAKDOWN OF THE BULLSHIT:

( 1 ) There is no such fund, there never was and all of the childhood star’s of Different Strokes are deceased but for Todd Bridges. So where the fuck did this comment even come from?

(2) The United States Department of Veterans Affairs does not handle claims for the Civil War. Though they do handle all claims for war veterans like Jack, my Cherokee grandfather who fought in WWII and my uncle Rich who still serves his country as part of the U.S. Reserves.

(3) Fascism, briefly, is a political model designed around an alliance of pro-big-business politicians with big corporations where businesses start controlling the government. Strangely enough, Obama was called a ‘socialist’ during the time of the heath care debate. One cannot be both a socialist (who promotes entitlement programs for citizens paid from taxes taken from the well off)  and also a fascist (who promotes corporations and not citizens). Simply put, one takes from a few (rich) to give services to all while the other takes from the citizens to serve the needs of a few (rich).  The definition of Fascism is: “a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.” -that sounds like the conditions minorities have been living under in America rather than something the President is supporting currently.

(4) This statement actually has some truth in it, however, the events that led to government control of the banking industries (if that’s what you wanna call it) all happened before Obama took office. Corporations have been asking for government assisted bail out since early 2007 and the Subprime Mortgage Crisis.

(5) This is merely an opinion; in fact “Obama told agencies they shouldn’t hide information merely because it might make them look bad. “The presumption of disclosure should be applied to all decisions involving FOIA, Obama wrote.” The decision to either grant or decline FOIA requests are still at the discretion of the department that you seek information from; as it has always been.

(6) See my answer to #5; business as usual but the author’s criticism only seems to be directed at the CURRENT president.

(7) Is this dude more angry that  Obama participated in the epitome of “Negro” past times then he is of the president having leisure time? The writer seems to be more angry that Obama is playing basketball with NBA players rather than off hunting like old Georgie Boy did (dam near every week!). Is the issue a perception of laziness this writers has of the President’s race or does he have a problem with the ‘time off’ in general? Why is Obama expected to work more than any the prior president? I get days off and I’ll play with NBA players if I want….fuck you if you’re mad.

(8) Was Michelle’s trip and shopping spree a mark against them? Could be, but the issue lies more so over the perception of her spending ‘tax payer’ money as if this woman wasn’t a partner in a law firm not too long ago. Maybe you don’t understand ‘swag’ but I do and I promise you Michelle didn’t reach her hand in her new purse for her Black Card much. Just think how a designer would KILL to have her wear their clothing in hopes that her face and their fashion would be spilled across the pages of magazine all across the world. BTW…Air Force Two and body guards and security are something they (and all former presidents and families) are supplied with by the United States government. It comes with the seat and it’s nothing new…if you must complain than make sure you complain about everyone.

(8) This claim is false. The dam dogs traveled with other passengers who rode in a smaller craft because their larger airplane (that could accommodate the entire staff) wasn’t available. On July 17,2010 The Sentinel reported the story in error; there was a correction printed the very next day (but no one is concerned with that part, only in trying to find something to be angry about regarding the President’s lavish spending. Both of the Obamas had an income before the presidency (like all prior presidents); maybe the Conservatives think the Obamas are part of the low class Blacks that are only now taking advantage of the additional funds this white man’s ‘job’ of Commander in Chief provides them?

(9) President Bush took off more vacation time than Obama has at the same point in time during his presidency. CBS Correspondent Mark Knoller keeps track of presidential statistics and so far he says that Obama has had less days off (48) than Bush’s (115) did during the same period of time. So..Obama has spent less time on vacation than Bush, though when Bush was on vacation the Conservatives insisted that Bush was ‘still working’ though he it was probably hard to focus on the government while also holding a rifle in his hand.

(10) You’ve got to be fucking kidding me….ALL presidential administrations give out government contracts. That is part of what politics is..you help me (get elected) and I’ll help you (with some ‘favors’). There is nothing illegal about it. Though I do have a problem with politicians giving out contracts to businesses they have a vested interest in. If there is a question of the ethics of this practice then I would suggest the writer of the above rant criticize the practice in general and not make it seem like the Nigger president is gonna have his African cousin who used to sell bootleg movies on 125th St. in charge of our Department of Defense (and even if he did..he wouldn’t be the FIRST one to have done such a thing..)

(12) Mentioning the words drunken and a politician in the same sentence doesn’t even warrant a dam response!  Although I would like to point out that ol’ Dick..Cheney happily admitted to flunking out of Yale and is a repeat DWI offender. But on a lighter note, Cheney voted against the creation of the U. S. Department of Education AND he also voted against a Congressional Resolution that asked for Nelson Mandala to be released from the South African prison where he had been held for years. Need I even mention that Cheney still owns shares of Haliburton (derived from his former position within the private sector company) which receives money hand over fist from Cheney’s willingness to grant contacts to his former company for them to supply our military with over priced and poor quality goods that cost military personal lives and limbs annually.

Strange how once you put some background details next to a conservatives list of complaints it seems more like an issue with Obama being a Democrat (rhymes with Black).

I don’t know. But I do know that I won’t sit and allow people with biased blinders on to spin fairy tale arguments in an attempt dictate to me what is and is not an real issue. The business of politics were traditionally exclusive and only included educated men. I might not be a man but I sure think it’s my responsibility to find out what the real story is before I sign up on the side of a critique which is more about race, class and the uncomfortable feeling that your ‘in’ group isn’t all that ‘in’ anymore.

I mean, after all, what would white people do if we were to turn around and give them a few centuries of abuse, exploitation and extermination? You can’t help but to feel a small sense of entertainment behind their antics. Join me now, as we collectively ‘tee-hee’ at the scared WASPS…all together now…..#TEE-HEE
