How can you not love Alvin the Third? Let me count the ways in which he has become my favorite 21st century Renaissance man. He’s a DJ from Chicago house and anything Chi-Town is Jersey fresh so I already knew I’d dig his musical tastes. Alvin is a generous man and thus provides a few links to free music right on his website.

I’m so stoked that Alvin is blessing the NY scene with his presence this week during a working vacation. I’m hoping to be able to catch up with him though I realize there is plenty of opportunity for adventure, discovery and the chance to connect and create (and to toss plans right out the window due to time restraints). Either way, he’s a fine fellow and one of my favorite people I’ve met online.
