What would you do if you were the CEO of a company and your own employees busted you for not following your own company’s best practices policies? Would you fire all their asses?

Well, that’s something like what happened to Mayor Mary Lee Cook of Oak Hill, Florida when the Sheriff’s Department raider her home and seized several marijuana plants. The Sheriff’s Department chose not to press charges against the Mayor since they believed she didn’t know the weed plants where on her property. That was a mighty quick investigation, don’t you think? Mayor Cook didn’t deny the accusations.

The 84-year-old mayor says that the agents found and seized a few ‘scrawny’ marijuana plants in individual containers.

So now the Mayor thinks she’s being set up and because she’s the Mayor she doesn’t have to stand for that shit. Next thing you know..

So she fired the entire department. City commissioners voted 3-2 at an August 1st meeting in favor of closing the department. The controversy came to the forefront earlier this month when Mayor Mary Lee Cook told officials she believed someone from the police force planted marijuana on her property.

Mayor Mary Lee Cook ain’t nothing to fuck with.

She’s been very vocal about her belief that the drugs were planted in order to ruin her reputation.

It’s refreshing to see the cops busting one of their own and it’ even better to see someone who says their innocent putting their foot up the asses of what may be a crooked police department.

Neither scenario is a long shot.

Goverment officials do things regular people aren’t allowed to do and get away with it. They are in charge of keeping us under control but who watches the watchers…nobody.

Cops do plant drugs on innocent people to damage their reputation. They don’t bother to press charges because the case would fall apart under legal scrutiny.
